Amazing place for children

Amazing place for children, so much room to run around n the tyre swing n zip line in the forest was a big hit, along with the animals . pods were immaculate, with everything we needed , the host was so friendly and helpful, even gave us a tarpaulin when we had a bit of rain, perfect location for beach, Margam park and few shops . will definitely be booking again.

Very peaceful campsite, within walking distance to Margam Park

The surroundings were beautiful, the lady that checked us in was delightful, she delivered the logs and coal and even went to the farm to get us drinking water.

Great Campsite!

The campsite is beautiful! Lots of grass space and a great woodland. We walked into Margam Park which is right next door and drove to some beautiful beaches nearby. So, lots to see and do! The place is well affordable for families with lots of children as they go for free. The cheerful and kind owner Mari makes this place to what it is: one of the best campsites!

Brilliant place to stay. Kids aged 9 & 10 spent ages in the woods.

Beautiful location. The woodland area was fantastic for the kids. Really friendly owner who gave lots of local advice too.

We stayed here on 20/11 absolutely beautiful place

We stayed here on 20/11 absolutely beautiful place, with plenty of views and walks to appreciate. Saw plenty of deer and talk a walk to margam castle, mari is a wonderful host and gave an extremely warm welcome. As someone who appreciates nature, we will definitely return with our children. Although we came as a young couple on this occasion I’m glad we did, as it made our time together feel so much more appreciated, every touch to these pods was romantic. We will definitely return…maybe in a slightly warmer season or with thicker blankets or a heater😅 thank you, Mari!!

Cant say there was anything to dislike, we wanted somewhere quiet and this pod was very fitting to what we were looking for.

What a gem of a place

What a gem of a place. Feel rather spoilt that we had the whole site to ourselves and we thoroughly enjoyed roaming around the woodland. The tyre swing and zipline really did have us all acting like children. The communal firepit place would definitely be the perfect setting to end the day with others, or you can just stay by your own pitch. Firewood was plentiful from fallen trees, and collecting it all is part of the wild camping fun. The pod was much larger than I anticipated, and despite the time of year, very cosy! Although we didn’t get to meet the owner, she did call to check in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Little touches really made this place perfect. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and return.

Wonderful host, excellent views on the heart of the countryside

Wonderful host, gorgeous views in the heart of the country. We had such a lovely stay, we arrived late at night and Marie couldn’t have been more helpful in pointing us in the right direction. We stayed on the hard standing pitch’s (which is the gate before the sign that says graig goch campsite) The views we woke up to were beautiful and plenty of space to cook breakfast outside. Was lovely meeting Marie the host, she was so kind and made us feel so welcome. Just a short drive away is some wonderful historical sights to view such a Margam abbey and great walks straight from the campsite. Can’t wait to see how this place grows and will defiantly be back again.
